Leaving my two young children was the hardest decision I have ever made.

They were only 1 and 3 years old when I left for Canada. Every goodbye broke my heart, but like many parents, I was willing to endure the pain because I believed it would give them a better future.

In 2005, I arrived in Canada as a live-in caregiver. For three long years, I worked and waited for the day I could finally bring my children to join me. When we were reunited, it felt like a dream come true.

But dreams come with challenges.

As a single parent trying to build a life in a new country, I quickly realized that one job wasn't enough. To make ends meet, I worked three jobs—serving coffee as a barista in the mornings, working as a full-time nanny during the day, and cleaning houses on weekends.

I was exhausted.

My body constantly ached, and the guilt was even heavier than the fatigue. I had worked so hard to bring my children to Canada, yet I barely had time to be with them.

I knew something had to change.

Then, in 2010, Greatway was introduced to me. I didn't hesitate to take a closer look.

At first, my goal was simple: find a way to create more time for my family while still providing for them. What I didn't realize was that this opportunity would allow me to do something much bigger.

It didn't just change my career.

It changed my perspective.

For years, I believed my purpose was simply to provide for my family. But through this journey, I discovered that my experiences, struggles, and lessons could help others create better futures for themselves as well.

Today, I still work hard—but now my work is aligned with a deeper purpose. I have the privilege of helping families protect their future, build financial confidence, and create opportunities they may never have thought possible.
